The IT Rules require us to publish the grievance officer’s name here (rule 3(2)(a)). Until it appears, the page above says so in place of a name.
Urgent — intimate images or impersonation
If content shows your private area, nudity or a sexual act, or impersonates you — including altered or AI-made images — mark your email “URGENT — intimate image” or “URGENT — impersonation”. We take all reasonable steps to remove or disable it within 2 hours of your complaint (rule 3(2)(b)).
Include the link to the content, or a description of where it appears. You do not need to send the image itself.
Cover outside working hours: To be confirmed
How to complain
You can complain about content on our apps, about your account, or about how we have handled something. Please include:
- a link to the content, or where it appears in the app;
- your account (the email address or username you use with us), if you have one;
- what is wrong, and what you would like us to do.
Our timelines
| What | Our limit |
|---|---|
| We acknowledge your complaint | within 24 hours |
| We resolve it | within 7 days |
| A request to remove content that breaks our rules | within 36 hours |
| Intimate images, nudity, sexual content or impersonation | removed within 2 hours |
These are the limits of the IT Rules as amended by G.S.R. 120(E), in force since 20 February 2026 — shorter than the older 15 days, 72 hours and 24 hours that many older policies still quote.
Orders from government and courts
The grievance officer also receives and acknowledges orders, notices and directions from the appropriate government, a competent authority or a court (rule 3(2)(a)(ii)). Content covered by a court order or a reasoned government intimation is removed within 3 hours.
If you are not satisfied
If you disagree with our decision, or we have not resolved your complaint in time, you may appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee within 30 days (rule 3A). The committee’s portal: To be confirmed
