The standard
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines — WCAG 2.2 — at level AA. Because WCAG 2.2 includes WCAG 2.1, this also covers the WCAG 2.1 AA base of India’s Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW 3.0).
Where we stand
- This website: This site, tested against WCAG 2.2 AA with axe in light and dark themes, keyboard-only use, and phone and desktop widths. Tested on 17 Oct 2026
- It works without JavaScript; it opens in a light theme, and offers dark as a choice; a “Skip to content” link is the first thing on every page; focus is always visible; motion is reduced or removed when your device asks for less motion.
- Chat is built to the same standard. Its own accessibility review will be published here, with any known gaps.
How we tested
- Automated checks with axe on every page, in the light and the dark theme.
- Keyboard-only use of every page and the menu.
- Screenshots reviewed at phone and desktop widths, from 360 to 1440 pixels.
- Colour contrast of every text and control colour pair, checked against WCAG AA when the site is built.
We have not yet tested with a screen reader by hand, and we will add the one we use here when we do.
